Leave a legacy donation

Leaving a legacy to the Whitley Fund for Nature ensures a lasting impact for people and nature.

For many, a legacy gift – also known as a gift in Will – is a way to reflect the values that have shaped your life, and to continue making a difference for years to come. By choosing to remember WFN in your Will, you can help protect wildlife, restore critical ecosystems, and support local communities long into the future.

could this be your legacy?

A legacy gift can be any size and tailored to your circumstances. It could be as little as 1% of your total estate – so those closest to you inherit the majority – or a specific sum or item. All you have to do is decide on the type and size of gift that feels right to you.

Including a gift to WFN in your Will is straightforward. You only need our details:

Registered Charity Number: 1081455
Name: The Whitley Fund for Nature

If possible, we ask that you leave your gift unrestricted, allowing us to direct funds where they are needed most. This flexibility is vital as our conservation priorities evolve over time.

“It’s true to say that WFN is a very special organisation. It’s small. It’s very precisely focussed…and so it is able to give its money where it really counts; where every penny counts.”

WFN Trustee, Sir David Attenborough

If you’ve already chosen to include WFN in your Will, thank you. Your gift will help ensure that grassroots conservation leaders can continue protecting our planet for future generations.

We understand your Will is deeply personal. There is no need to inform us, but if you choose to, we would be honoured to thank you and keep you updated on the difference your generosity will make.
